Gravel in river, creek changing floodplain

A looming problem lurks in the waters that make their way through Wimberley. The Halloween Flood caused many obvious problems, but it also left behind a new one. The heavy rain swept large amounts of gravel into the Blanco River and Cypress Creek, which managed to build large deposits of gravel throughout the streams.
