Mau to be next Hays County DA

The Republican Primary Election decided the next Hays County District Attorney as there were no Democratic or Independent challengers. Wes Mau won the election over Lynn Peach garnering 58.3 percent of the vote. The final numbers had Mau with 4,594 votes and Peach with 3,285 votes.
