The Lady Texans faired well at the Hays Reble Relays which was a meeting including multiple 4A and 5A schools.
Coming off a week in which they won the Blanco meeting, the girls placed fifth overall behind Hays, Canyon, Rouse and San Marcos with 66 points.
“Our times were faster across the board in every single race,” Girls Head Coach Lacey Jo Lambert said.
The highlight, as it often is, was Kally Long, the school’s defending state champion pole vaulter.
Kally jumped 12-feet, six-inches to take first again and is eyeing the state record 13-feet, one-inch.
