Place 4 City Council Candidate Pam Showalter

Pam Showalter, past member and Chair of Wimberley's first Planning and Zoning Commission, has entered the race for Place Four on City Council. “The City's first P&Z Commission won awards from the Central Texas Section of the American Planning Association (APA) and from APA Texas because we created unique planning tools to help preserve Wimberley's character,” Showalter said. “I was also very involved in the development of Wimberley's first Master Plan, which is the foundation for all City actions. The Master Plan is coming up for revision, and I can draw on my past experiences to help that process.”
Showalter obtained a BA in English from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, then spent ten years in business – her last position was as a financial analyst at a Fortune 500 company.
