Death in Wimberley ruled homicide

Denise Manning, 45, of San Antonio, was found dead, murdered in Wimberley on Wednesday, March 26 in the driveway of a vacation rental on Scuddar Lane in Wimberley.
Police suspect that, Shaun Mireles, 22, of San Antonio, stabbed her to death while the two were staying at the cabins.
According to a press release from the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, “the preliminary report from the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office indicated that Manning’s manner of death was ruled a homicide.”
