New trees coming to square

The leaves on trees are starting to return as spring rolls into Central Texas, but a few trees on the square aren’t growing anything new.
Three of the four trees planted on the square when the road and parking lots were redesigned are being replaced.
State contractors planted the trees and did not heed the advice of the city of Wimberley’s arborist. Now, many of the trees have died and need to be replaced.
