Owner of Mandola arrested twice after breaking into competing winery

Damian Mandola, co-founder of Houston-based Carrabba’s and owner of Trattoria Lisina restaurant in Driftwood, was arrested twice by Hays County Sheriff’s Deputies in the past several days.
According to affidavits filed with the court, on Thursday, April 3, deputies were dispatched to the Duchman Winery after receiving reports of Mandola “driving a golf cart recklessly in the area.” Moments later another call was received this time for “a subject breaking into the Duchmen Family Winery.”
