City-wide cleanup starts Saturday

Spring has arrived and so has the time for a city-wide cleanup day in Wimberley. Residents are invited to get a jump start on their Spring cleaning by taking part in the event on Saturday, April 19.
“This is a great opportunity for Wimberley residents to drop off those unwanted bulky items that normally would not get picked up at the curb by the City’s garbage contractor,” said Wimberley Mayor Bob Flocke. “This free solid waste collection event is being provided for those who receive City garbage service.”
