Three thousand butterflies will take flight during the Annual Butterfly Festival at the EmilyAnn Theatre & Gardens in Wimberley. Area students and businesses are carefully tending cages of caterpillars, watching as the caterpillars form chrysalises and eagerly awaiting the moment that they emerge as beautiful Painted Lady butterflies. The butterflies will be released at the Annual Butterfly Festival, a longstanding tradition in Wimberley that draws visitors from around the state.
