Abduction attempt in Dripping Springs
A Dripping Springs girl reported to police that a man attempted to abduct her as she got off the school bus on Friday, May 2, in the 200 block of Harmon Hills Cove.
According to a press release from the Hays County Sheriff Office, the girl said a white male in a white passenger car approcahed her after she got off the school bus. She ran from the location and told her parents what happened. Her parents contacted police.
The man is described as a white, heavy-set male, approximately 5'9" tall with brown eyes and glasses. He was estimated to be 40 to 50 years old and wearing a brown shirt and khaki shorts. The vehicle was described as a damaged, late-model, white, four-door passenger car, possibly a Honda Accord.
"This is an ongoing investigation and appears to be an isolated occurrence, as we have not received any additional calls of this nature in the Dripping Springs area," the press release said.
