Post office buzzing with bees: Boxes of thousands surprise post office
Submitted by Wimberley1 on
Last week, 48 boxes of bees showed up at the Wimberley Post Office, a few of which began to escape the secured wood and metal cages. Wimberley resident Mark Cleaver is pictured here picking up the bees. He said they would be brought to a house between Wimberley in Blanco where they had prepared many apiaries, or bee yards, for the thousands of bees. The plan for the honey? To make a little mead, an alcoholic drink fermented from the bee honey. (photo by Dalton Sweat/Wimberley View)
