EMS Duck Race fundraiser this weekend

EMS Director Ken Strange gets in the water to do the dirty work. To start out the race, you have to be able to get the thousands of ducks into the water, so he flipped the boat.

When it comes to racing, the thought of a duck may not come to mind unless you’ve lived in Wimberley.
The fact that the race is based around rubber ducks makes an even more interesting thought to entertain.
The idea of little rubber ducklings drifting down the river may seem unique enough in itself, but intense race is actually more than just for fun. It is the main fundraiser for the Wimberley EMS.
