Jacob’s Well Natural Area grand opening

A plan that has been in place for years finally came to fruition with the grand opening of the Jacob’s Well Natural Area.
“In the very first Hays County Parks Plan, Jacob’s Well was the first thing on it,” Hays County Commissioner Will Conley said at the grand opening.
It was a special moment for many. David Baker and the Wimberley Valley Watershed Association worked for years on their own to bring together the many properties that now make up the protected area.
