Commissioners urge state legislators to help vets

They don’t cause injuries that are visible, but traumatic brain injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) are the “signature wounds” of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
On Tuesday, Hays County Commissioners took steps to urge state legislators to provide more “funding and focus” to treat Texas veterans who suffer from these wounds by passing a resolution.
