Masked teenagers say ‘You are loved’

If you’ve hung around Wimberley the last few weeks, it’s likely you’ve seen the masked teenagers walking around with signs reading “You are loved” and “Free hugs.”
While these loving teenagers have scared a few people, they mean no harm. In fact, they have a reason for the message that they are spreading.
“We know what it’s like to feel like no one really loves you,” Trey Carmichael, one of the masked teenagers and a junior at Katherine Ann Porter School, said. “We want to remind people that someone does love them and that there is always people who care about them. “
