The 2014 State Archery Champions in the Elementary Division, St. Stephen’s Episcopal School Archery Team represented themselves well at the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP©) World Tournament held in Madison, Wisconsin on July 11-13. The 13-member team, led by Coach Val Jeter, scored an overall team score of 2,723 including 51 bull’s-eyes.
This team began their trek toward the NASP© World Tournament earlier in the school year when their overall team score of 2,889 sealed their spot as State Champions. With this victory, St. Stephen’s Archers not only brought home the NASP© state championship trophy, but also automatically advanced their team to the NASP© National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky last May.
