Dear Friends and Neighbors,

This letter is a call for action.  Are you aware that the City of Wimberley has submitted an application to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for a proposed wastewater plant located at Blue Hole Park?
The proposed permit is a Direct Discharge permit for 75,000 gallons per day expandable to 100,000 gallons per day into Dry Deer creek which flows to the Blanco River entering just below the Ranch Road 12 bridge and upstream of the Rocky River Ranch Girl’s Camp, numerous residences, neighborhood river parks, B&Bs and the Texas State University Camp.
