Congressman Roger Williams, who represents District 25 in the House of Representatives and therefore Wimberley and Dripping Springs, spoke at the Driftwood Estate Winery off Ranch Road 12 last week.
Wimberley is the southern tip of District 25, which runs all the way to Fort Worth.
Williams is on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Currently, there are over $800 billion of transportation projects waiting on federal funding within District 25 alone and about $3.5 trillion within the state of Texas.
