With school starting this week, many of bond projects for Wimberley I.S.D. are beginning to near completion.
Most projects are behind schedule, though they are on budget.
The projects directly affecting students coming back to school have either been completed or were finished to a point the school could work around the construction.
“My number one overall frustration is that the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality sat on our permits for up to 120 days,” W.I.S.D. Superintendent Dwain York said of the construction delays. “That was our major delay in our projects.”
