The first week of school for WISD went very well according to Superintendent Dwain York.
“I was very pleased that teachers and students handled the construction and get the kids off to a positive note that will carry throughout the school year,” York said. The introduction of iPads and other new technology will help students prepare for future challenges.
“I’m so excited about digital learning and getting the iPads into kid’s hands. Teachers have been working all summer preparing lessons. Technology enhances instruction,” York said.
