The Wimberley Texans (0-2) will face off against the Somerset Bulldogs (2-1) and their high-flying offense in the third game of the season.
The Bulldogs have averaged 35 points a game through their first three this season with much of that coming from the arm of Koy Detmer Jr. Football fans may recognize the name as Detmer’s father, who is the offensive coordinator, was an NFL quarterback for 10 years with the Philadelphia Eagles. Detmer’s uncle is Ty Detmer, was a Heisman winning quarterback for BYU and played 12 years in the NFL himself.
