SAN MARCOS — The Texas State Alumni Association has named celebrated historian Dr. Patrick Cox of Wimberley, as one of five 2014 Distinguished Alumni amongst university graduates.
The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have achieved prominence and made a significant impact on the lives of others through their profession, accomplishments, affiliations, and service to the Association and the University. Since the inception of the award in 1959, only 202 of Texas State's alumni have been recognized with this prestigious award.
