Keep Wimberley Beautiful: Bats in Wimberley?

The other night, a friend and I were going to eat dinner at Marco’s Italian Restaurant. As we were parking, lo and behold, thousands of bats were spiraling over us, coming in over and through the trees near Cypress Creek Bridge.
We were astounded as we had not heard anything about the presence of this bat colony. Several nights later, I went by myself to see if these bats were flying out on a fairly regular schedule.
