Karl-Heinz J. Krenz

Karl-Heinz J. Krenz, 65, of Wimberley, TX passed away at his home on Friday, September 19th.  Karl was born in West Berlin, Germany on August 28, 1949 to Karl and Ursula Krenz.  His family arrived in the U.S. at Ellis Island on July 4, 1959 and settled in Fredericksburg, TX.  Mr. Krenz served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.  He graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos and enjoyed a career in management in the industries of oil and gas and the manufacturing of medical devices.  He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Billy J. Krenz; daughter, Diane White and her husband, Doug of Midland, MI; daughter, Pamela Anderson and her husband, Elvis of Houston, TX; daughter, Jamie Gupta and her husband, Vineet of Watertown, MN; brother, Wolfgang Krenz of Wimberley, TX and seven grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or your local VFW Post. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 26th at the Thomason Funeral Home in Wimberley, TX.  Interment with full military honors will take place at Ft.
