Family loses home in fire last week

A neighbor saw flames coming from the upstairs of Judy Beth Hunter and Hunter Wakeman’s house in Rolling Oaks on Thursday of last week. After alerting Judy Beth and her children, who were inside the house, everyone made it out safely, but the family of five lost most of their possessions.
The house was a total loss.
Officials say that there are no suspicious circumstances, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
