According to Daniel Martin Polhemus’s mother, Carmen, her son’s favorite saying was, “I’ve got your back.”
Polhemus played for the Wimberley Texans football team and was a “loyal, generous friend,” before being critically injured in a single-car accident in 2005, just four weeks after his 19th birthday.
