Civic Club to donate $50,000

One of the Wimberley Community Civic Club’s main goals is to nurture community spirit through service and financial support and the organization has met this lofty goal for more than thirty-five years. This year the grand total of gifts is $50,000.
Through the thirty-five year history the Wimberley Community Civic Club has generously donated to many Wimberley Valley non-profit organizations and given numerous graduating high school seniors scholarships at the club’s annual May meeting. This year was no exception. In fact, due to increased revenue, both the number of scholarships and the amount for each high school senior recipient was generously increased.
