Overnight rain road closures

Rain totals ranging between 3 and 4.75 inches of rain are beign reported throughout Hays County.
Current road closures, as of 9 a.m., in Wimberley are three low water crossings. The crossings at County Road 1492, Little Arkansas and Hidden Valley are all closed.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE REGION THIS MORNING. RAINFALL WILL REMAIN LIGHT WITH AMOUNTS OF A TENTH OF AN INCH TO ONE QUARTER INCH. A FEW LOCATIONS COULD SEE ONE HALF TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH IN LOCALLY HEAVIER RAINFALL. MOTORISTS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION ON WET ROADWAYS AND BE ALERT FOR STANDING WATER. LOW LYING AREAS AND LOCATIONS NEAR OR ALONG CREEKS AND RIVERS WILL LIKELY STILL HAVE ELEVATED WATER LEVELS. IF YOU COME UPON A FLOODED ROADWAY...TURN AROUND DON`T DROWN.
