Maltese Star Thistle: Keep Wimberley Beautiful

Just as the native beauty Damianita we discussed last week flourishes with the present weather conditions, so do certain invasive plants we dislike so intensely we call them weeds. I first noticed the Maltese Star Thistle (Centaurea melitensis) in my yard during the hot dry summer of 2009. It then took over one whole section of my yard during the notorious summer of 2011.
