Another fire temporarily shuts down liquor store

Those looking for a sip of something a little stronger on Memorial Day had to drive a little farther than normal.
Wimberley Valley Spirits, the liquor store on the north side of Woodcreek and one of the few in the Wimberley Valley, caught fire on Saturday, May 24 burning a storage room and bathroom.
For the most part, the damage was contained, everyone made it out safely and only a limited amount of alcohol was lost, according the Wimberley Fire Department.
