People continue to spend money in the Wimberley Valley at a higher rate than last year. Both Wimberley and Woodcreek have seen another increase in sales tax allocations, stemming from the cities’ one percent sales tax rate, compared to this month last year.
The numbers reported for April show Wimberley at an 8.17 percent increase and Woodcreek at 383.24 percent increase for the month. Wimberley received $76,399.50 during April and Woodcreek $18,740.44.
