Former First Lady stops by Wimberley

Former First Lady Laura Bush made her way through Wimberley last week for a trip with friends to Blue Hole. She posted this picture on her Instagram account, a social media site for posting photos, saying she was there to “beat the heat” and included the fact “Blue Hole Park is the first city park in the U.S. to be certified a sustainable site.” City Administrator Don Ferguson said that she had “very positive comments” about the park.
