Wimberley’s Patrick Cox was re-elected as the board president of the Pedernales Electric Cooperative Board of Directors at the PEC annual meeting on June 21.
Cox has been the director for PEC’s District 7, which encompasses much of Hay County and part of Travis County since 2008, and this will be his second year as president.
“I think we had a very successful year,” Cox said. “We’ve improved the financial standing of the co-op. We’ve received excellent audits. We’ve also achieved a extremely solid bond rating from the independent rating services, and we’ve brought in a new CEO John Hewa.”
