Leaning Pear wins business award

Matt Buchanan, owner of the Leaning Pear, accepted the Governor’s Small Business Council Small Business Award recently as the lone Wimberley recipient in the Hays and Caldwell County region.
“It definitely came as a surprise,” Buchanan said. “It’s never been our primary objective as a small business owner to focus on the business side. It’s always been a restaurant that supports the community first, but it’s great to get recognized for it.”
