Richard M. Fisher, 78, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2014 in Wimberley.
Richard was energetic and enjoyed life to its fullest. Born Sept. 20, 1935 in New York City. He received his undergraduate degree at Principia College, Elsah, IL in 1957 and a master’s degree from the University of Texas in 1968. For 15 years he taught at the Kinkaid School in Houston. After moving to Sausalito, CA, he met and married Gisela Bigden-Fisher and worked for Apple computer for many years. He retired to Prescott Valley, AZ. After the death of his wife Richard relocated to Wimberley to be closer his sons and grandchildren.
Richard is predeceased by his wife Gisela, his sister Muriel and his brother Louis.
He is survived by his sons Jonathon and wife Lisa Fisher, Peter and his wife Sharon Lundgren, stepson Maurice Bigden Jr., and stepdaughter Monica and her husband John Wixted, Grandchildren; Sasha, Joseph, Nathan, Noah, Kristopher, Danika, Maurice II, Lexington and great granddaughter Aurora.
He remained close friends with his first wife Helen Shaner Hankins.
The family is planning a private celebration of life this October in Wimberley.
