PEC pursuing renewable energy, doing so in cost-effective manner

Pedernales Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors on Monday, July 21, learned of steps co-op management is taking to achieve the renewable resource goal set by the board in 2008.
“These are exciting times as we look toward the renewable energy area,” said Chief Executive Officer John D. Hewa. “Pricing is advantageous, and PEC is pursuing cost-effective ways to bring affordable, clean, renewable energy to its members.”
