Vandalism struck the Lion’s Club Market Days Field as doors and windows were recently kicked in.
“This is a problem we have over the summer,” Lion’s Club General Manager Frank Williams said. “It kind of runs in spurts and sometimes it just gets to a point that’s bad.”
Doors and windows were kicked in at multiple concession stands. It is difficult to use fingerprints to find perpetrators, because juveniles often commit the crimes, officials said.
“We had one kid stuff a baseball bat down our exhaust in the restrooms, broke stuff in the restrooms,” Williams explained.
