UPDATE: Owner of Wimberley’s Kim-Soo Karate jailed for alleged sexual relationship with student

The owner of Wimberley’s Kim-Soo Karate on Ranch Road 12 was arrested July 31 on two second-degree felony charges of sexual assault of a child.
Richard Dale Griffin, 60, of Wimberley, is the master instructor at Kim-Soo on the outskirts of town. Griffin was recognized by the state of Texas Senate on May 24 of last year for his “outstanding contributions and many years of continued success," according to his karate studio’s website, and in October, he was inducted into the Taekwondo Hall of Fame.
