Thomas John Carruthers

Thomas John Carruthers went to meet his Jesus April 4 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and “Dad” to many young people. His is loved by many and will be missed by all.

Following high school, Tom served in the US Air Force in Guam, Oklahoma and Louisiana for 5 years. After separating from the Air Force, Tom worked in several occupations and was out of work for only one month his entire life. He was respected for his strong work ethic. He and his wife Bea established T. J.’s Hamburgers 44 years ago. Their hamburgers have been named “best burger” in San Antonio many times and have received 2 “Blue Plate” awards. During this time, he also established Carruthers Materials as a second business.

Judy Downs Seaberry

Judy Downs Seaberry, a resident of Wimberley, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the age of 71. Gay Nell (Hogue) Meyer

Edward N. Williams (Ed) born December 15, 1934. Was called to be with our heavenly father after a long illness March 25th, 2017. Ed retired from the US Air Force in 1973. Ed is survived by his wife Kay Williams and beloved dog Suzy Q, brother Buddy Williams (Ginger), sisters; Kay Epps, Fay Roach & Jeannie Hodgson (Donald). Children; Rodney Williams (Paula), Tery Levy & Dawn Cox (Jim). Grandchildren; Lindsay Williams, Kimberley Levy, Andrea VanDerbeek (John) & Georgia & Liam Cox. Richard Harold Chewning

Richard Harold Chewning, 65, born on June 12, 1951 in Plainview Texas, died in Wimberley Texas  on March 18, 2017. Cremation was provided by Agape Funeral Chapel Lubbock, TX. Family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.

Richard moved to Wimberley in 1971. He dedicated his life to the ranching and cattle industry. The last 20 years of his career were spent at the Jack Mountain Ranch as the ranch supervisor. He was also very involved with the Butler Longhorn Breeders. 

Preceded in death by his father Harold Lloyd Chewning, mother Ermagane Maria (Butler) Chewning and infant brother Michael Lloyd Chewning. 

Survived by son Taylor Chewning and wife Mandie of Lamesa, TX, Sister Carol Parker and family of Amarillo, TX, Grandson Andre Chewning of Lamesa, TX,

Marguerite Williams Headrick

Marguerite Williams Headrick peacefully passed away February 18, 2017, at Orchard Park of Kyle, Texas at the age of 91.  Marguerite was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 14, 1925 but grew up in Evans, Louisiana.  She married her one love Vester R. Headrick and they built their life in Monroe, LA.  After his passing, she moved to Austin, Texas in the late 1980’s to be closer to her sister and family.  She eventually ended up in Driftwood where she enjoyed gardening and the peace and quiet of the Texas Hill Country.

Marguerite donated her body to the Texas State University Forensic Anthropology Center.  At her request, there were no services, but a time of visitation will be held for family and friends Saturday, March 25, 2017, 2 PM to 4 PM in Orchard Park’s Life Enrichment Room, Kyle, TX.

Jacob Jordan Villaret

Jacob Jordan Villaret, Age 37,  beloved husband and adoring father, passed away March, 10 2017.   Predeceased by his mother Sharon Villaret. He is survived by his devout and loving wife Monique Villaret, his all-star cheer champion daughter, Jordyn and his young son, Kash.  He was a constant source of 2:30am random phone calls, love and humor to his father, Paul Villaret (Kathy), sister Marjory Grogan (Matt), brother Alex Villaret (Tera), younger sister Molly Rositzki, stepsister Samantha Behrman(John), stepbrother Jake Quisenberry and uncle to Declan Grogan.  His passing leaves behind a darkness that can only be lit by the memories of those who loved him. He will be sorely missed and was taken from us all too soon.
