Raymond Wood Czichos

Born in Houston, Texas, in 1938, Raymond Wood Czichos went to be with the Lord 78 years later from Wimberley, Texas.  Raymond’s parents, Raymond Louis Czichos and Madge Wood, added sisters Joanne and Gene to the family in Channelview, then moved to Wimberley in 1946, where brother Carroll was born.  The family created a legacy of tourism for thousands of lucky vacationers at 7A Ranch and Pioneer Town.  At Pioneer Town, Raymond took part in the entertainment, gaining renown as Pecos Bill in the Gay 90’s show and the drunk cowboy in the Medicine Show.  He also owned and drove the Pioneer Town and Pacific Railroad park train, regaling riders with his particular brand of corny humor.
